After watching the Peacock Series "John Carpenter's Suburban Scream", I sought out the original radio show of Episode 5 of this series called "Cursed Neighborhood".
The Burbs is a fabulous series that I heard is coming back to life soon. Based in Maryland and laden with a brutal past that is full of paranormal activity on the land. The land spirits become part of the homes that are built years later.
This is a town that is full of drama on it's own. A young widow, Lisa Sheraton, has come to settle in with her 14 year old daughter and the activity begins to pick up again.
I don't want to give away too much of the plot line because each episode is perfectly laid out with suspense, surprises and cliff hangers galore. Oh and there's a Demon that is pretty creepy as well.
Come take a listen to this radio drama. Feel like you are in the time of the golden era of radio. I think you'll really love it!!
